I own a 2015 focus Ecoboost. I've already ordered a socket for the spark plugs but I'm having a hard time finding the plugs themselves stateside. I just had the 25,000 mile service done on my '04 1.8 Zetec C-Max. The guy at 'Lifestyle Ford' in Horsham (West Sussex) said that I should have the plugs changed at this stage. It adds about £75 to the cost of the service so I elected to change them myself. Ford uses an IOLM (Intelligent Oil-Life Monitor), and the Ford scheduled maintenance does call for extended oil change intervals. These intervals can stretch to as far as 10,000 miles or a full year. Of course, many techs, customers and shop owners do not think favorably about the use of extended length oil service intervals.
